I start the new year with a short episode where I share what I learned from reading Greg McKeown’s book, Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less and how we can apply it to what we talk about here on the Meet Education Project.
The book is about the importance of effectively “editing our professional and personal lives to their core components.”
If we truly want to lead constructive lives, then we must train ourselves to determine the things that are most important to us, and be strong enough to edit what does not help us accomplish those things.
If we apply the essentialism perspective on our own industry, we must ask the question: What are the most important things that we want to accomplish?
