To find out more about Zach and his story, be sure to read this article from Inside Higher Education.  Zach is from Ohio, and works third shift at ConAgra Foods 56 hours per week.  Zach is a part of what is being called the new traditional student in higher education, which is the cohort of 38% of total students over 25 years old enrolled in college.  This number is projected to increase to 61% by the year 2019.

College for America has partnered with seven companies to offer the self-paced, competency-based associates degree program as a continuing education and lifelong learning service to their employees.
